Armed Forces Champions Award

Littlehampton Armed Forces Champion Award

Littlehampton Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club (LAFVBC), Armed Forces Champions Ian Neville and Richard Jeffrey along with some fellow club members attended the, Together we can make a difference 2020 at the Amex in Brighton today.

There was a strong focus on Women Veterans and an agreement to request to lobby for Women’s Veterans to have their own representative within the new Government Veterans Department and also a celebration of finally all roles being open to women.
Important Networking and information was sought and this will be relayed back to the Breakfast Club members.

To top it all at the Armed Forces Champions awards, LAFVBC won an award for The Team making a difference.

Ian Neville set LAFVBC just under 2 years ago and it has gone from strength to strength. The Breakfast Club meets twice a week, provides welfare and mental health assistance and is greatly assisted in this by our solid connections with many other Veterans charities, NHS support and others willing and able support us.

We are ongoing in our work to continue to support our Armed Forces Personnel and Veterans and look to expand on working within the local community to highlight the needs of our members.
