Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Clubs Funding
The main aim of the Breakfast Clubs is the welfare of its members and NOT for financial gain by ANY person/organisation. If a member needs financial support, it may be possible to some extent through their local Breakfast Club.
Even though we try to keep business interests and charities away from Breakfast Clubs, this is up to each individual club to make their own decisions, as each club is run separately and by its members, not the CIC. The CIC is here to produce the guidelines for how clubs should be run; not the rules of how clubs should be run, it is run "By Veterans for Veterans" NOT "By Veterans to fill the pockets of the few".
If donations are made, we (the CIC) make sure that the funds go to the right place; we do not sit on the funds in the bank account when the club or organisation can help those who need it the most. We make sure the funds are accounted for and that all funds go to where they are expected to go to. We do not and will not deduct or take any part of the funds which are donated, for example if we get a donation for a club we will make sure that 100% of that donation goes to that club, we will not deduct or keep any of the funds which are donated.
