Every Saturday at 10am the ex forces and reserve community of Milton Keynes come together for breakfast and a catch up at at ‘Capt Riddleys Shooting Party’.
The Wetherspoons establishment’s unusual name reflects its proximity to Bletchley Park, and the secret recce that sited the WW2 codebraking base. The landlady, Ex forces herself, gives a 20% discount to the breakfast club.
Armed Forces Day 2019 (Saturday 29 June), Supporting men and women who have served and continue to serve in the Armed Forces Community. There are multiple ways in which people can get involved with the event, for further information then visit the the armed forces day website.
New prime time and stripped daytime series for BBC1, which will highlight ‘romance fraud’. Our ambitious ‘event’ led series will be stripped across 5 days in the daytime slot. We will also continue with 4 further episodes at 7.30pm, peak time. We aim to TX in either August or September this year but the exact dates have not been confirmed. With this in mind we will be filming throughout May and the beginning of June.
We are currently putting the final security patches and updates in place for the website shop, were members will be able to purchase items which show the widely recognisable logo. Item will be able to be personalised to show club names and also members names. There will also a supporting veterans range which will allow members family and friends to support ther AFVBC.
