It has been decided in the current climate with the Corvid 19 (Corona) Virus to postpone the forthcoming South & West Wales Information & Advice Fair that was due to be held on Friday 24th April 2020. We will keep you advised as to the new date once the UK Government has announced that it is safe to do so.
In light of the Covid 19 virus and the possible threat to the health and safety of all veterans, especially those with suppressed respiratory or immune systems we would advise that all clubs take the necessary precautions/action to protect their members. Keep checking for updates on what we recommend and also the government website.
This year, the Household Division Beating Retreat is going to held on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th June (2020). The theme will be 'THE SWORD AND THE CROWN”, paying tribute to Her Majesty the Queen, recognizing the service of the Foot Guards and the British Army in defence of the Nation at home and abroad, marking the 75 years of peace in Europe since the end of World War II.
Some members of the Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Clubs had the honour of visiting the Royal Hospital Chelsea Breakfast Club, the food and company were excellent as always and everyone seems to have enjoyed themselves. Members had breakfast then retreated to the bar and the caught up with old friends, the images shown are just a few taken at the time.
